接著下來要為大家介紹的是在AIX 裡資料儲存的組成元素和概念
AIX 的儲存是由下列幾個元素組成 :Files/Directories/File Systems/Logical Storage/Physical Storage/Logical Volume Manager
而關於Logical Volume Manager(簡稱LVM)裡有幾個專有名詞,我大略簡述它們的概念如下:
Physical Volumes => 實體的硬碟(Partition)
Volume Groups => 虛擬硬碟(磁區)
Logical Volumes => 虛擬分割區(邏輯群組)

Logical Partitions
而它們之間的組織原理如下:
A VG consists of one or more PVs
Each PV is divided into PPs
A LV is made up of LPs
LPs are mapped to PPs
